TaRaysha P. Whitley Owens joined Walton & Adams, P.C. in 2002 as the receptionist. Since then, Ms. Whitley Owens has been awarded progressively increasing responsibilities within the firm. In 2005 she received her first promotion to Bookkeeper. Her second promotion came in 2011 to the position of Office Manager. Most recently, in 2015 she was promoted to Paralegal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ms. Whitley Owens’s duties include managing all aspects of the accounts payable/receivable protocols, including VDOT invoicing compliance. She oversees personnel management and development, client relations, the implementation and maintenance of technology and information systems, as well as project management, employee benefits, compliance, and supply management. She serves as the firm’s vendor liaison and performs various other tasks required to ensure uninterrupted office operation.

Ms. Whitley Owens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Gibbs College, and a Legal Administration certificate from The Washington Business School.
